Our films PVC, TPU, EMMA and EVA explained
PVC Flexible Transparent is a thermoplastic polymer that combines high clarity with strong mechanical performance. It offers excellent flexibility, electrical insulation, and good resistance to weathering and chemicals, making it a reliable choice across a wide range of demanding environments.
The material is produced through the polymerisation of vinyl chloride monomers, a process that gives it a distinctive combination of properties: it can be formed into rolls or sheets of varying thickness, and is compatible with multiple joining techniques including high-frequency welding, ultrasonic welding, hot-air bonding, and conventional sewing. This processing versatility, combined with relatively low material costs, has made it a popular choice across many industries.
Its applications are broad. In textile structures it is used for tents, pergolas, marquees, and event canopies. Its transparency makes it well suited for window panels and flexible covers that admit light while providing weather and UV protection. Other common uses include strip curtains, signage, packaging films, cable sheathing, inflatable products, swimming pool liners, hoses, crop tunnels, and automotive interior components.
